| Home | Fresh, exciting and local are all words that have been used to describe our food, which is served in a relaxed, friendly and informal style. Local sourcing: We work closely with local producers, farmers and fishermen to buy food which is fresh, of the highest quality and low in food miles. We always try to use as much Cumbrian produce as possible. Sustainable fishing: We support the sustainable fisheries programme and endeavour not to use species which are threatened or have depleted stocks. Allergies: If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know. If there is something special that you would like to order and we do not have it on the menu we are happy to prepare these items. We generally require 24 hours notice to be able to source and carefully prepare your favourite dish. Mike Allchorne, Chef
